A My Queue account can be deleted, with everything in it, by the person who signs in to it. Deleting cannot be undone.
Tap the person button at the top of any tab to open Account, then tap Delete account. Enter your passphrase to confirm.
Sign in, open Account, then choose Delete this account and everything in it. Enter your passphrase and type DELETE to confirm.
- Every link you saved, with its reason, rating, topics, private note, picture, and the audio of articles read aloud to you.
- Your sets, and who you shared them with.
- What you sent to friends. They can no longer open it. Anything a friend already added to their own queue stays in theirs.
- What friends sent you, what you answered, and your notices.
- Your friends and your invitations. Your friends are no longer connected to you.
- Televisions paired to this account. Each one shows a pairing code again.
- Viewing history you brought in, where you stopped listening, and your settings.
- Services you connected. For YouTube, this server also asks Google to cancel its access, a few minutes after the account is deleted. Spotify gives apps no way to cancel their own access, so also remove My Queue in your Spotify account, under Apps.
- Your name, your passphrase and every sign-in. Every phone and browser signed in as you is signed out.
Topic names are shared by everyone on this server, so a topic name you typed stays, with none of your links under it. Once the account is deleted, someone else can sign up with the same name.
Use the recovery code you saved to reset the passphrase. My Queue has no email recovery and no administrator override. If you lose both your passphrase and recovery code, the account cannot be recovered.
